The IceBox can provide you with everything you need to hold a successful auction – from the bidding sheets to the actual items! Some of our most popular pieces include Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Raptors autographed and framed photos, autographed jerseys, celebrity autographs and gift certificates.
The process begins with a short meeting to gather information about your event (number of participants, location, etc.). From there, we’ll put together a list of the auction items we feel will raise the most money for your group, then tailor it to your individual needs. Does someone in your group really love Doug Gilmour? Wendel Clark? Elvis? We’ll get something special for them to bid on!
A few days before the auction, you can pick up your items, bid sheets (which we produce with your logo) and anything else necessary from our store, or make arrangements to have us deliver it to your office! And here’s the best part— there’s no cost to your organization!
You pay nothing to us in advance. Instead, you simply leave a CC number and sign our consignment sheet for what you take – then return within a week after the function and pay us for what sells! If an item doesn’t sell, you just return it to us!
Here’s an example of how the process works:
You’d like four pieces for a small event – a Johnny Bower signed jersey ($250), a Dale Earnhardt Jr. signed and framed photo ($125), a Beatles framed CD display ($150) and a framed hockey card display ($125). You pick them up from The IceBox and we'll show you what you'll make on each piece when it sells, as we build a donation into the starting bid of each piece so you make something on everything!
You come back to the store within a week, pay the balance owed and we cut your organization a cheque for your money! We’ll also list your event on our upcoming local events page and distribute flyers and/or sign-up information through our store, and if we can help in other ways (press releases, cross-promotion, etc.), we will!
